About The Pub

Our youngest of the bunch, The Sun Tavern is perfectly located for Covent Garden, just a 2 minute walk from the tube station. With a slight Art-Deco feel The Sun Tavern is a great bar for a social drink, a meet with friends or a home-cooked meal in the upstairs bar next to the roaring fire. Our Manager, Vikki has worked with our company for over 3 years and has become part of the family.

The large upstairs bar and dining area is an ideal place to have a breather from the hustle and bustle of London’s West-End, whether having a sit down meal, a pre-theatre drink or just re-charging the batteries, this bar is for you. Also available for private functions for groups up to 60.

Our wine menu been carefully selected to offer a variety of both old and new world wines. We recommend you try the Chapel Down Brut NV. A great example of a classic English sparkling wine, grown and produced in Kent.

Lovely pub came across it on accident down an alleyway. Brilliant pint of Guinness atmosphere was great and service was brilliant.

"Hospitality at it’s very finest" I organised exclusive hire of the upstairs bar for a business reception, uniting our UK, US and European offices. I was looked after by the managers, Tiernan & Milly. Nothing we requested was too much. I can’t recommend this site enough for an upmarket drinks reception

We had a wonderful evening here before the theatre. We arrived slightly early for our reservation but the staff quickly seated us. The kitchen didn't open until 5pm and at 5pm on the dot, someone came and took our order for us. The food was delicious when it arrived, the steak and ale pie is the best I've ever had. We had a children's meal and it was excellent value for money. Excellent venue with wonderful staff. We will be back.
